We look back in horror at the thought of witch hunts and the incomprehensible burning alive of innocent women for crimes, we now know, were completely fabricated by the powerful and the frightened people of the day.
We can see the ludicrousness of a trial by drowning where if the accused drowned, they were innocent in the first place.
In retrospect it’s easy to see that the evil existed in the witch hunters themselves, rather than the innocent and likely intelligent, thoughtful and deeply feeling people and healers that they tortured and slaughtered.
We think such a thing could not happen in today’s world. That we are beyond such insane flights of the imagination.
Yet it not only exists but has been thriving for decades and gathering excessive steam.
How do we find the modern day witch hunters? You’ll spot them by their siren call. Denier! Denier!
Climate Change Denier!
Covid Crisis Denier!
Others you should be able to see through: Racist! Islamophobe! Animal Killer!
With those shouts a modern day ‘witch’ is labelled, their careers ruined or worse. When all they really wanted was an honest open discussion about the facts. Something that can never seem to happen with the ‘defenders’ of consensus science. Like happened in the ‘defense’ of religion in the time of the burnings. We need to understand that ‘Consensus’ science is instead the death of science, the death of wisdom and the death of democracy and humanity.
I’ve heard the term ‘flipping’ being used to describe the action of someone accusing you of what they are actually doing to you. By going on a witch hunt, the modern day witch hunters themselves are the true deniers and need to be seen and called out as such.
We all need to hold our feet to the fire of truth rather than get caught up in the prevalent fears of the day. Whether that be about the climate or a virus, or something else that is yet to come. Instead of looking for a ‘consensus’ to be party to and a witch to burn, we need to question the people that drive fear, anxiety, and helplessness to make a population more controllable.
In that vein, as this video portrays, we want to make sure we are standing on the right side of history. Otherwise it’s Nazi Germany all over again.
My mother was brought up in Germany during WW2. She asked why there were people wearing special yellow star badges. Her parents said that they were “special” people and she shouldn’t ask questions.
My grandparents lives in a state of fear and I don’t judge them by the standards we live by today. However, it perfectly exhibits the thesis presented in this video.
Hopefully that was just your grannie/Oma’s way of trying to protect your mum at the time, Andy. Our grandparents today are largely trapped in the white coated doctors as God image. Although, having said that, my mum said that my grandad was dead set against vaccines from the beginning.
