Highly recommend. Sally and Darag took care of our home and, of course, our precious ‘child’ – Miss Scruffy. Regular updates and photographs. Two vet visits required and handled perfectly. Sally & Darag were the perfect house & pet sitters. This was my first time using sitters, and having met them prior to going away, I knew my beloved cats and elderly dog would be in great hands. Their communication, kindness and reliability were exceptional and I enjoyed my first holiday in years, secure in the knowledge that my home and precious pets were being well looked after. I felt very comfortable leaving my two aging indoor Tonkinese cats , one of which has pancreatitis and needs to be medicated every 12 hours, in Sally and Darag’s care. The cats certainly put them through their paces during their stay but Sally and Darag kept me informed every step of the way. When I returned home I witnessed two extremely happy and well looked after cats. The house was clean and tidy so I didn’t have to rush around getting it as I like it after a direct flight from London. Where do we start? From the moment we heard back from Sally, we had a really good feeling. Although they had just accepted another sit that crossed over our dates, we couldn’t let them go:>) The following Skype call gave us even more assurance that this was going to be a great fit. Our Westie had the best time with them, including glorious beach walks and cuddles. Their communication was next level with photo proof that everyone was having a good time. Sally and Darag looked after our home for three months along with a high maintenance dog and two cats. Debs and I found them amazing from the time we Skyped them in San Gimignano to talk with them about looking after our place. They are an amazing couple who communicated well throughout our trip and regularly sent us updates through WhatsApp. There were are a couple of incidents when the dog needed some surgery and some home plumbing work was required. They worked with us on resolving these without any problems. We felt our house and animals were lucky being looked after by Sally and Darag. On our return, our house was left immaculate and our dog was sad her new best friends had left. Deb’s and I would highly recommend Sally and Darag if you were looking for a nice and quiet couple to look after your house and animals. We look forward to staying in touch with them. Sally and Darag handled some initial difficulties with the house efficiently and positively. Sally was very communicative and friendly and I felt that I knew her, even though we didn’t meet in person. The cats were calm and healthy when I returned, the house clean and the car full of petrol. Sally and Darag made it possible for us to go away together without worrying about our alpacas, cats, peacocks, hens and doves. They approached our house-sit in a caring, sensitive way, maintaining a comfortable level of contact with us so that we were reassured that everything at home was running smoothly! We returned home to find all in order, the animals happy and well cared for and the house as we left it. We would have loved to have been able to spend more time with them but, sadly, Sally and Darag had a tight schedule and more house sits to fit into their travels! Superb house and pet sitters! Sally and Darag took excellent care of my beloved Maremma Sheepdogs Poppea and Dio and my two cats Aapo and Tahvo for almost 12 weeks and survived with bravery a very snowy winter on my small farm while I was enjoying the Brazilian sun. A six months old pup can be quite a challenge. When coming back home I found an enormously grown, joyful, big baby with good manners. I also found a spotlessly clean home. Dogs very happy upon our return and a nice bonus the house was tidy and vacuumed.One of our dogs needed to have daily tablets, not the easiest thing to do but Darag persevered until mission accomplished!They kept cool under stress when the house alarm went off after works carried out by electric company and resolved this problem.No hesitation in recommending them. Sally and Darag are wonderful people. I couldn’t have been happier with their stay at my house while looking after my Bengal cats. They are conscientious, reliable, and kept me informed with texts and photos of my cats daily. The house was spotless when I got back. Darag and Sally were excellent house-sitters: they had to deal with a very aged and disabled dog administering medication and monitoring his health etc along with looking after 2 other animals. They communicated regularly and did all that could be expected of them and more and they also they the house in a better condition than when they arrived.
