Comment:
I’ve borrowed a line from Star Trek for one of the chapters headings of my book: Guilt – The Final Frontier.
It’s not fear or worry or anger we need to be concerned about. It’s guilt. Handle guilt and all else falls away. Be oblivious to our guilt and anger, fear and all sorts of malevolence raise their ugly heads like the mythological Hydra. Cut to the heart of the matter, dealing with our own sense of personal guilt in whatever situation, and Hydra turns into the Easter Bunny.
The landscape of guilt is the final frontier to be crossed to arrive at the shores of our blessedness. The distance to travel not measured in miles but in time. It can be travelled in an instant, as it never was real. But to get to that instant can take a seeming infinite amount of time.
Another thing to practice not feeling guilty over:).
