This is like the old saying you have two ears and one mouth so learn to listen more than you speak if you want to know and hear what someone else is saying. But this listening is more, much more, than that.
Listen and listen and listen and listen again and again listen.
The giving happens in the receiving and you need do nothing other than again listen.
