L 103. I share God’s Will for happiness for me.
God, being Love, is also happiness. To fear Him is to be afraid of joy.
God, being Love, is also happiness.
And it is happiness I seek today.
I cannot fail, because I seek the truth.

I learnt to be afraid of joy after a few motorcycle accidents that happened after moments of joy where I lost touch with the realities of the roads. Like cars pulling out on a corner in front of a teenager on a bike running over the speed limit.
Then there was following the call of joy in my heart to leave medicine and follow my own path, which was followed by my mum getting depressed and never recovering from my actions.
Needless to say I’ve had many an opportunity to question my relationship to that sense of joy inside.
Basically, I’ve had to relearn not to be afraid of joy. To trust it instead of questioning it and myself.
I can’t say it’s been a straightforward journey but it’s certainly been an interesting one:).
