God’s Will and mine.

It takes some gumption to let go of the goals of the world. To come to appreciate that we really don’t know what we are doing here. To be open to another way of being.
Who can say that they don’t feel the change inside when they let go of a grievance? The wings that appear on your heart, the lightness flooding your body-mind as the shackles of the pain that bound us disappear into the nothing that they always were. All these ‘sensations’ testify to the truth of what the course is saying here.
We can join with another will, bring that into the world and thus free ourselves from untold pain and misery.
It’s coming to know there is something we want here. It’s remembering our will is to be happy and if we are thinking that something or someone in this world will make us happy we are sadly deluded.
It’s realising we have another will. We can make another choice. It’s coming to the single mindedness of bringing light, our will, to the simple truth that all we really want is the peace of God, Goddess, All That Is.
All else will become clear from there…
