It’s an interesting statement of what the world finds valuable at the moment that a 19 year old girl from Germany will hopefully have more impact on the public perception of the climate issue than the many scientists that have been refused a platform over the last few decades.
The term Climate Realism has been around for a while. I like it that Naomi has put it front and centre. It gives a powerful stance to combat the term, that I find personally obnoxious, of ‘climate denier’. The term of ‘climate denier’ is used liberally to shut down open discussion and push real climate scientists to the sidelines. Much like the Hitler Youth were taught to treat the Jewish people as subhumans that were only worthy of contempt.
This is a very worthwhile panel discussion and Q&A from CPAC 2020 which will also give you a good overview of Naomi’s story and get you thinking of how you can be thinking differently yourself.
I encourage you to share it with your friends and family of all ages. It’s past time to stop being manipulated by the propaganda of fear. Well past time to start thinking, really thinking, for ourselves. Indeed it is our time to make a stand before we are ground into the mud by the sickening plethora of misinformation from the Climate Warm Mongers.
